Rebecca Logsdon
Chances are when you call Zackler & Associates, Rebecca will be the first one to answer the phone. Rebecca wears many hats at Zackler & Associates. Although she is officially the firm’s Legal Assistant, she is also its Bookkeeper, Receptionist, Office Manager and Secretary. In addition, Rebecca is responsible for trademark maintenance and prepares most of trademark filings handled by the firm.
Rebecca joined Zackler & Associates in 1996 after working several years for the maritime law firm Acret & Perrochet and its successor, Emard & Perrochet, in San Francisco. Rebecca set up the accounting department at Emard & Perrochet. She also assisted in trial preparation and presentation, and created many of the exhibits that the firm used in trial.
Rebecca graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with a BA in Film History. Briefly seduced by the idea of being a lawyer, Rebecca attended Golden Gate University Law School for a couple of years before deciding that, although she liked working with lawyers, she really didn’t want to be one herself.
During her off-hours, Rebecca enjoys training and showing her award-winning Shetland Sheepdogs, tending to her many roses, and growing more tomatoes than she knows what to do with.
